Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Elinvar clients are committed to hiring leaders that reflect the diversity of the people they serve. Our search process is designed to uncover existing diverse candidates in any talent pool. In addition to looking for diverse candidates with traditional backgrounds, we also identify candidates with relevant, transferable experience. Because we are actively engaged in networks and organizations that represent diverse groups, we are able to connect with all candidates in an authentic and effective manner.
Our results speak for themselves. All of our clients have highly qualified diverse candidates to interview and consider. More importantly, 71% of our placements are leaders who are people of color or from the LGBTQ+ community. When female placements are included in this calculation our diverse placement percent is 86%.
By any measure, the sectors we serve have struggled to achieve the level of racial diversity in their leadership teams that they desire. With our deliberate focus of working with our clients to make progress in this area, we are seeing increasing success every year. This is how we define the terms that are freely used with very different meanings.
DIVERSITY
In the context of our search practice all candidates we recruit have the technical knowledge and experience desired by our clients for each position. Diversity in this context is deliberately seeking BIPOC and LGBTQ+ candidates with these qualifications
EQUITY
We introduce all highly qualified candidates to our clients. We then guide a focused and consistent interview process with them for each candidate. This process provides a platform for every candidate to excel and for our client to determine the candidate that is the best choice for their organization.
INCLUSION
During the process of our client getting to know Elinvar to decide to engage with us, we are accessing their commitment to equity and inclusion. We have opted out of search opportunities when we determined a lack of alignment with our core values.
